Unit Training Officer - GR & Wet Crew

As an immigrant to New Zealand I think it is very important and rewarding to volunteer my time to make our community safer. I have been living in Raglan for over a decade swimming, diving, fishing, surfing, and kite surfing in the local waters. After several close calls of my own I joined the unit in 2012 and now consider the team part of my extended family. I am a freshwater ecologist by trade with over 20 years experience as a professional skipper and spend most of my volunteer time in the jet ski rescue team.
