CG Master - GR Skipper - Wet Crew

I joined the Raglan coastguard unit in 2011. My reason at the time was to further develop my seafaring knowledge and the passion I have for being at sea. Once in the unit I found there was a great sense of family and comradeship. After working through the many modules and been a senior crew member for more than 6 years it was time to progress and become a skipper which I achieved in 2019. I am a father of 2 boys and a girl. Husband to a very patient understanding wife. I work at Rylock Waikato overseeing the manufacturing of aluminium joinery. In my spare time I like to hunt, fish surf, ski, snowboard and spend time with my family. I have enjoyed my time immensely with the RVCG and cannot see myself ever leaving.
