Marketing Officer - GR & Wet Crew

I am Fred 'Madagascar'. Got that nickname since I really come from Madagascar , the Island, not the cartoon :) Been in Raglan since 2009 now and in the Unit since 2013. I am the Fundraising & Communications Manager of a Not-For Profit Organisation as a day job and serving my Community as a Coastguard Volunteer and a Registered Financial Adviser. I have joined Coastguard as I saw it as another way to give back to the Community. My spare time is shared between coaching the Raglan Youth Football Team and referring games, snowboarding, surfing and karate training with my wife and my 2 daughters, and enjoying good beers and bbq with my mates."

The greatest thing about being a Coastguard Volunteer is the great camaraderie, and being part of an awesome team of committed, enthusiastic and very well trained men and women.
