Trainee

Originally coming from the UK I've been in New Zealand since 2016, and joined RVCG at the beginning of 2020. I'd wanted to volunteer for some time, but it wasn't until I worked alongside the coastguard unit on a training night through my job, that I decided to actually join. I love the ocean and all things that come with it, predominately surfing, so it seemed a no brainer to volunteer for such an incredible organisation, and give my time to say thanks to the incredible Raglan community. I come from an outdoor instructing background and now work for Raglan Rock, an outdoor adventure company, taking people rock climbing, caving and canyoning! I love climbing and surfing, and since arriving in NZ I've found my passion for fishing and spear fishing! Through joining RVCG I've met some incredibly selfless people and I’m very thankful to be part of this amazing team.
